These regulatory priorities are a key element of our proactive approach to managing critical issues and emerging risks that threaten agriculture, the environment, food safety, and communities across NSW.

The priorities target biosecurity risks, food safety, animal welfare and traceability, and are delivered through coordinated action with co-regulatory agencies. By concentrating effort where it matters most, we strengthen prevention, detection and response activities that protect NSW.
