Rainfall was variable during August, with high totals received in the northeast of NSW.
Rainfall Percentiles
Lower rainfall percentiles were observed across much of southern NSW and parts of Western NSW during August 2024 compared to the 1980-2020 baseline record.
Calendar year to date rainfall percentiles vary across NSW.
- Widespread rainfall deficits remain in the Riverina, Murray, southeast, and southwest of NSW.
